New Homes

A range of much-needed housing is proposed at Wandon Park that would provide accommodation for groups including:

• Families
• First-time buyers
• Retirees
• The elderly
• Key workers

The proposed development would have a significant role to play in meeting the needs of the growing local population. Importantly, up to 40 per cent of the new homes will be designated as ‘affordable’ housing, making them available those local people who need them the most.

At this early masterplan stage in the design and planning process, the exact designs of the proposed properties have not been decided. There will be a mixture of different property types, from one bedroom flats and bungalows, to three and four bedroom family homes.
